Who We Are ...
CUPE Ontario Convention 2026 is happening May 27 - 30! This Convention will decide the future direction of our union. Everyday our lives get more difficult while the wealthy keep getting wealthier. We face soaring costs on food, housing and transportation, stagnant wages and dismantling of public services like healthcare. This crisis will only deepen until we build a member-led union that is uncompromising in fighting for the interests of working class people. Working class people like you, who go to work everyday and give it their all to keep the economy running!
We are CUPE members who have come together to run for elected positions on a shared set of ideas. This is about what our union can and should be. At its core, it's about building a stronger, more democratic, member-led CUPE Ontario that fights and wins with workers.
The platform is about open bargaining, real organizing for coordinated strikes, accountability, and putting power back in the hands of members. If you believe in this vision and you’re thinking about running, we encourage you to step forward, connect with us and be part of building something real. We will never win without you!
There is space here, for leadership, for new voices, and for anyone ready to do the work.
